The Duchesnay Falls Nature Trails are a short drive east, in North Bay, and offer waterfall drops up to 15 feet high. Be careful not to fall in, as you can trace every inch of waterfall simply by walking along the trail. As for the winter, there are endless trails to enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. For a more curated experience, check out the West Nipissing Nordic Ski Club, which offers 13km of groomed and tracked cross-country ski trails, and 12km of snow-packed snowshoeing trails.
